The mission of the North American Association of Liver Transplant Social Workers shall be to promote, expand, and enhance the role of Social Work in liver transplantation health care.
Welcome to the North American Liver Transplant Social Workers Association. We are an organization designed to help members make the most of professional education and networking. We learn so much from each other by attending conferences, through online discussions and relationships with colleagues in transplant centers across North America. Our members have a wide variety of experience, from the most novice to those social workers who have worked in transplant for 30 years or more. While our main focus is on liver transplantation, many of our members participate in the care other transplant populations such as kidney, pancreas and intestinal transplant.
Please consider joining our association as a member or sponsor. Our annual dues are extremely reasonable and a great value for your money. Our 26th Annual Conference will be held at the Palmer House Hilton in Chicago from November 13-15, 2013. Even if you cannot attend, presentations are available to members through this website.
Thanks for your time and visit our site often for updates.
